Cornering Do you find taking bends to be a bit scary? Confident cornering is the bane of many riders but, as your bike must lean over to negotiate a bend, it really is the essential skill of motorcycling. Learn how to accurately determine the correct speed for every bend. Master your steering control and discover why your motorcycle is much more stable than you might think.

Braking Did you take up motorcycling to experience the joys of braking? Probably not. Are you tentative with the front brake because you fear losing control? Learn how to use your brakes effectively and make the best use of an often misunderstood and underused resource.

Gears and Acceleration How do you know if you're in the right gear? Do you find yourself down-shifting in the middle or at the exit of bends? One of the keys to smooth riding is using the correct gear at the right time in conjunction with accurate use of the throttle is. We'll show you how.

Overtaking Do you find overtaking a bit nerve wracking? Many riders do but we'll show you how to make them well planned, well executed and safe. We'll help you learn the finer points of safe overtaking, a key aspect of efficient progress.

Winter Riding We've all heard this, "There's no bad weather, just bad clothes". Get a grip on your winter riding. Stay riding and stay sharp. You'll be far better for it come spring. Statistics clearly show that low-mileage seasonal bikers are over-represented in on-road 'incidents'. Yes, you'll likely be washing your bike more frequently but what you will learn about grip and control in the winter will pay big dividends come summertime. And besides, the fresh air will do you no harm.
